Thing 1 and Thing 2

The new world of web 2.0 is overwhelming for this digital immigrant but all the new tools keep my mind young. Discovering the new tools that can be used in the classroom and then sharing them with others is a great experience for me. Creative tools such as Voice Threads and ToonDoo are my favorite kinds of tools. These tools are useful and relatively easy to use. I find that information overload is ever present and appreciate RSS feeds but still have not managed my schedule to view the content. David Warlick's view of the classroom gives one an image of what can be. I find that present teachers will slowly come around to using technology (web 2.0) tools more and more but it won't be until the immigrant native generation become teachers that the classroom will change dramatically. I find this time period rather exciting - to be in the beginning of such a huge transformation.
